Shipping & Policies

Shipping -

Current TAT for processing orders is currently 15 BUSINESS DAYS (not including holidays) (or 20 BUSINESS DAYS not including holidays during the Summer months) or less before your order is fulfilled. You will receive a shipping notification the day your item ships. TAT is subject to change based on increases in sales during event periods. 

 

Refund Policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure they have read the store's policies. SSE recommends purchasing samples prior to committing to larger quantities of any fragrance oil as returns are not permitted on perfume items.

Cancellation Policy

You have the option to cancel your order within a period of 24 hours, provided it has not been shipped. Please note that all cancellations are subject to a 5% processing fee based on the total value of your order. 

Damaged, Lost or Stolen Packages

If you added Route+ Package Protection at checkout, please file a claim with the Route team here.

If you opted out of Route+ Package Protection during checkout, you assume responsibility for your package and SSE is not liable for any damaged, lost or stolen packages.

I am not responsible for lost, misdirected, or missing packages OR porch pirates. If your package has not arrived, or was misdelivered, then it is your responsibility to contact your postal carrier immediately and request they place a tracker on your package. You must add an email to your order to receive your shipping notice from Shopify.

Double check your shipping address. If your package is lost or damaged you can make a claim with insurance coverage, excluding First Class.  

International buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes/fees that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs. I am not responsible for any any tariffs, or any other fees from your government. I cannot mark items as gifts. Be sure you are familiar with how to track down packages with the shipping company you choose at check-out as I am not able to help you find a package once it leaves my hands and has processed through US customs. 

Out of Stock Products

In the event that an item is unavailable, we will issue a refund for the out-of-stock item and exclude it from the final invoice or replace with a like item. The remaining items in your order will be promptly shipped to you.

Missing Items

If you find that your order is missing an item or if you have received an incorrect item, we kindly request that you notify us within 5 days. When sending an email, please ensure that your order number is included in the subject line, and we will be more than happy to send replacements or issue a refund for the missing items. Please note it is our policy to request complete photos of both the interior and exterior of the parcel, as well as the contents you received. We compare the scanned weights provided by our carriers with our own records to ensure accuracy.

Shipping Carrier Policy

At SSE, we reserve the right to select or change the shipping carrier at our discretion to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery. While we consider customer preferences, we may switch carriers based on factors such as cost, delivery speed, service reliability, and regional availability. If a change occurs after an order is placed, customers will receive an updated tracking number as soon as possible. Any carrier change will not affect the final shipping cost charged at checkout unless explicitly communicated. Our responsibility for the shipment remains unchanged, and we will work to resolve any shipping-related issues in alignment with our existing policies. By placing an order with SSE, the customer acknowledges and accepts this policy.

Chargeback Policy

Prior to initiating a chargeback, we urge customers to reach out to our customer support team for issue resolution. In cases where a chargeback is raised without prior communication and valid justification, we retain the right to enforce penalties, including an immediate and permanent account ban from our services, loss of warranties/support, and potential legal action to recover losses. Our commitment to fair dispute resolution is aimed at maintaining a positive customer relationship, and we encourage open communication to address concerns without resorting to chargebacks. By using our products/services, customers acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this policy.

Supplier Responsibility and Customer Use  

By purchasing from SSE you ("the Buyer") acknowledge that we act solely as a supplier of fragrance oils. As such, we cannot guarantee the performance, quality, or outcomes of your finished products, nor do we assume responsibility for how these products are marketed or advertised.

Feedback

Fragrances are custom blended and I do my best to describe them accurately but scents are highly subjective to each person. Fragrances can differ drastically according to temperature and your own body chemistry. 

Scents are very subjective to personal preference and genetics. If you receive a fragrance you do not like, I ask that you please not leave a negative feedback on the fragrance itself, but please base your feedback on the shopping experience you had with me as a seller and the quality of the items received. Feel free to say you did not care for the particular fragrance, totally understandable, but please judge me based on the quality and experience you had with my products, 


Returns Policy -

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
  • personal use items (perfume, body & hair products) 

Contact me within 7 days of delivery for damaged items (broken, leaked, defective bottles/containers). 

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.


My products are Vegan & Cruelty Free

All of my products are Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and have been tested on sensitive skin. No animal products are ever used in my products and contain no harmful chemicals – for you or the environment. 

Fragrances are mixed from essential oils, fragrance oils, and botanical absolutes. Mixtures may contain botanical extracts - shake well before use.

Additional Policies

As with all products, discontinue use if irritation occurs. By purchasing my products, you understand the possibility that some people may have allergic reactions to such products, and I am not liable should such reactions occur.
